Equity indices finished higher on Monday with the benchmark BSE sensex rising over 350 points led by gains in banking and financial stocks amid firm cues from global markets. The 30-share BSE index rose 364 points or 0.95 per cent higher to close at 38,799; while the broader NSE Nifty finished 95 points or 0.83 per cent higher at 11,466.
